Camps

Our soccer camps are open to all youth in rising grades 3-9, of all experiences, from first time players to advanced. Players must attend the full week of camp. Players will be grouped by ages and led through activities that focus on a daily skill. Players will also participate in activities that teach and further promote DC SCORES’ core values of teamwork, leadership and commitment. Our soccer camps are led by DC SCORES expert coaches that are trained in soccer and positive youth development. Our camps culminate in a celebration that includes a BBQ, staff vs. players game, fun activities, and awards for players who display teamwork, leadership, and commitment throughout the week.

Our arts & soccer camps are open to all youth in rising grades 2-6. The camp runs five weeks long and participants must attend all five weeks. The camp day is divided into arts programming and soccer programming. Soccer programming is appropriate for players of all experiences and consists of fun activities that focus on a skill of the day. For arts programming, outside experts are brought in to lead sessions on different topics each week, ranging from dance, painting, drumming, playwriting, etc. This camp has weekly field trips and trips to the pool. Our camps culminate in a celebration that includes a BBQ, staff vs. players game, fun activities, and awards for players who display teamwork, leadership, and commitment throughout the week.

Registration will open when camp dates and locations are released in late March. Registration for our summer camps is on a first come, first served basis. For our Arts & Soccer Camp, priority registration is given to returning DC SCORES participants at specific sites due to grant restrictions. Enrollment for our Arts & Soccer Camp is very competitive and students will be placed on a waiting list once maximum enrollment is reached.
